Saturday, February 9, was Chinese Spring Festival Eve; at High Mowing we celebrated it on Monday with everyone wearing red clothes. During morning roll call, the Chinese students told us the legend of Chinese Spring Festival and played a traditional Chinese game with other students. Jiahong Liu '14 wrote a poem in Chinese, Snow Ballet, and presented to the entire school. Monday night, the Chinese students and the kitchen prepared a special Chinese dinner for the whole community; the dumplings were delicious and amazing. We also decorated the dining hall and the front door with Spring Festival couplets.
