Welcome to the

High Mowing Admissions Office!

In my work at High Mowing I have the pleasure of attending roll call in the Big Room where the entire community gathers each morning. This provides me an opportunity to observe our students on a regular basis. Sometimes it feels as if I were watching time-lapse photography as they are transformed before my eyes. I watch as they quite literally “unfold,” standing more upright and with open faces, accepting and being accepted as part of this learning community. I see them taking responsibility, taking the risk to make their contribution. I see them sharing their often outrageous senses of humor or amazing special skills. I see them becoming leaders, acting as role models for the younger students. I get to see their “best selves” in the process of creation.

We believe our school is like no other. Our students grow into thoughtful, contributing members of society. Our graduates go out into the world with curiosity, compassion, and a capacity to see possibilities for themselves and the world in which we live. High Mowing fosters the confidence needed to try new things and the perseverance required to succeed.

Come visit us! I would love to show you around and offer you the chance to discover for yourself what makes High Mowing unique. We schedule tours and admissions visits throughout the year. By coming to our campus, you’ll experience what makes High Mowing a great place to prepare for college and for whatever you choose to do in life.

I invite you to contact me to discuss High Mowing. I 'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the admissions process.

I look forward to meeting you!
