The High Mowing Science Olympiad Team competed against fifteen other high schools on Saturday, March 31, at the annual statewide Science Olympiad. Our team placed 2nd in Forestry (Nina Duggan and Merri McMahon), 3rd in Tower (Cameron Murphy and Christian Hoschek), and 4th in Helicopter (Naylani Halpern-Wight and Merri McMahon). Other team members included David Janetos and Luke Sanchez-Shaw. We entered 14 of the 22 events, including Water Quality, Optics, Anatomy/Physiology, and Forestry. Team members brought pre-built solutions to four of the events: Thermodynamics, Gravity Vehicle, Helicopters, and Towers. We are proud of them!
