High Mowing School, founded in 1942, is the oldest Waldorf high school in America, and the only one to offer a boarding program. We have a mix of day students and boarding students, with current enrollment at ~105 students. Our beautiful campus is situated on a charming hilltop with spectacular views of the local mountains. Pine Hill Waldorf School, Nursery - Grade 8, is located across the road. High Mowing School is an accredited member of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and Association of Waldorf Schools in North American (AWSNA). We are fortunate to host the Center for Anthroposophy summer Renewal Courses, and Antioch summer Waldorf Teacher training on our campus. The surrounding community offers anthroposophic physicians, study groups, workshops, conferences, and biodynamic farms.
