Individual Interest Courses
The last period of the day, beginning at 3:40 p.m., offers optional opportunities for students to pursue individual interests and electives, both academic and recreational, including intramural sports, electives, student clubs, and community service time. These optional classes include a wide selection of credit and non-credit options, which give students the opportunity to explore new interests, gain required credits in areas where they need them, or have fun learning a new skill. These classes will enrich the already varied and rich offering of classes that take place during the school day and give students the additional option of pursuing off-campus activities, such as work or lessons outside of school in the late afternoon.
