High Mowing School is seeking candidates for our Teacher Apprenticeship Program.
Experience teaches us that one of the most effective elements in preparing for Waldorf teaching is an active involvement in the life of a school over a significant period of time. Actual encounters with students, colleagues, and parents, along with ongoing guidance and mentoring, are ideal for the honing of the skills required to become a proficient Waldorf teacher. Such a setting is akin to an extended apprenticeship: the apprentice gradually assumes responsibilities based on the development of essential knowledge and skills.
