Full-Time School Nurse

High Mowing School is now accepting applications for a full-time school nurse to support our full-time Director of Health Services. This role protects and promotes student health, facilitates optimal development, and advances academic success. Grounded in ethical and evidence-based practice, they bridge healthcare and education and advocates for quality student-centered care. HMS has about 140 high school students; about half live on campus.

This is a full-time position with on-call expectations, including overnight and weekend coverage when boarding students are on campus.

Main Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) currently licensed in the State of NH
• Eligible for Certification/Certified as a School Nurse by the NH DOE
• Current BLS certification

Essential Duties

• Medication administration and wound care
• Initial and ongoing assessment of patients
• Monitoring of compliance with Federal, State, and local laws
• Managing health records
• Administering school health services
• Implementation of communicable disease control program
• Performs nursing functions
