Handwork Teacher

We are looking for an individual to join our experienced and collaborative faculty as a handwork teacher for the lower school campus. This could be a full-time or part-time position.

Qualifications

Our preferred candidate is experienced with teaching handwork to groups of children, has experience working in a private school environment, and  is passionate about sharing their love of handwork with students in elementary and middle school. Patient, organized, and dependable, they are committed to excellence in the classroom, love working with children, and are eager to contribute to a strong community of dedicated teachers and students. They seek a school with a strong vision, energetic colleagues, and clear leadership. They are able to solve problems with discernment while maintaining confidentiality of student, familial, and organizational information.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching handwork to children
  • Waldorf trained/in training (or commitment to begin training)
  • Ability to plan and deliver diverse curriculum
  • Organized, dependable, punctual
  • Able to work collaboratively
  • Passionate and authentic

Compensation

The compensation for a full-time position includes
