Tobin Peyton-Levine

Math and Physics Teacher
BS, General Science (Physics & Chemistry), University of Oregon
MS, Mechanical Engineering, Arizona State University
To spread the joy and show the wonder of math is my passion.
Tobin is a High Mowing School alum, having attended kindergarten through grade 8 on our Pine Hill campus. After completing his master's degree in mechanical engineering, he returned to High Mowing as a high school Math and Physics teacher in 2019. He also teaches welding and engineering classes, and as an avid runner and triathlon participant, leads our after school cross-country and track & field programs.

Throughout everything he does, Tobin's guiding principle is "If there is a will, there is a way." "I always encourage my students to find their grit and believe in their abilities to solve any problem. Seeing the flash in their eyes when they have discovered meaning for themselves is always the best part of my day."

As a teacher, Tobin values the opportunity he has at High Mowing to teach from direct observations of our students' needs and to help students learn to be good people.

When he finds some spare time, Tobin likes to hike, play with his kids, cook, and play piano.
