Before joining High Mowing School, Karen worked as an English teacher with the ExcEL Program at Brookline High School in Massachusetts; a classroom teacher and summer program educational supervisor at the Manville School and The Baker Center for Children and Families in Massachusetts; in education support for Franklin, MA, public schools; and as a classroom teacher with the Boston Pre-Release Center (Department of Corrections) in Roslindale, MA.
