Being welcomed into the High Mowing community feels like a dream come true. The campus is breathtaking, and every person I’ve met has been so friendly, joyful, and deeply glad to be here. I am truly thrilled to begin teaching preschool and to welcome new families into this vibrant community.
Sarah is a trained Waldorf Early Childhood educator who began her Waldorf journey in 1990 as a first grader at Pasadena Waldorf School (PWS). As an adult, Sarah returned to PWS to work in the aftercare program and as a lower grades handwork assistant. She later worked in early childhood at Westside Waldorf and co-founded a Waldorf-style home nursery program.
While living in Texas from 2021 to 2025, Sarah and her family joined a vibrant Waldorf community of families devoted to a healthy kitchen program, biodynamic farming, and anthroposophy. Sarah taught preschool along with parent and child classes, which brought new families into the community and Waldorf education.
