Cross Country Team Wins
The High Mowing cross country team hosted their first home race of the school year on Wednesday, October 15. The home crowd was fantastic — their cheering propelled the team, and the results show it!
Maebelle Hoyt (5th place), Fiana Ciborski (7th place), Dylan Blair (8th place), and Lila Curran (10th place) anchored the girls team. The team as a whole had all 10 members place in the top 20, and for the first time in school history, won the team competition!
The boys team earned third place overall. The team was anchored by Alex Holcomb’s 5th place finish and Luke Curran's 3rd place finish. In addition, a group of five boys all finished together in 13th-17th place.
The cross country team has one more race before the conference championship. Both the girls and boys teams are showing signs that they may be able to win it all as a team this year!
