Class of 2025

Class of 2025

On June 7, the 32 students in the High Mowing class of 2025 began the next chapter in their lives.

They plan to continue their education at a diverse list of colleges, universities, and gap-year programs. This class is truly inspirational — they are a kind and compassionate group. Our faculty is immensely proud of our seniors and wish them success in life as we look forward to the futures they create.

  • Vaughn Anderson will attend Western New England University, majoring in Aerospace engineering w/minor in Spanish.
  • Henry Ditlow will attend William & Mary, majoring in plant biology.
  • Sofie Engstrom will take a gap year to travel in Europe, then plans to go to college abroad. 
  • Auggie Gomez will attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute, majoring in mechanical engineering.
  • Addie Grissett will take a gap year to go wwoofing in Europe and then attending Warren Wilson College to major in sustainability, agriculture, and philosophy.
  • * Olivia Harrison will attend Acadia University in Nova Scotia, majoring in the science of psychology.
  • * Juan Jackson is exploring options and plans to continue her soccer career.
  • Jillian Kershaw will attend College of the Atlantic, majoring in human ecology.
  • Shoshona Kriegsman will attend Drew University, majoring in history and theater arts.
  • Evie Lewis will take a gap year on a horse farm in New Zealand and then attend Warren Wilson College to major in animal science
  • Jim Li will attend UCLA, majoring in Asian humanities and art.
  • * Sofia Matias will attend University of Chester, England, majoring in psychology and sports & exercise science.
  • * Brooke McNiven will attend Luther College, majoring in biology.
  • * Emily Nanton will take a gap year at her home of Trinidad and Tobago, then she plans on attending medical school.
  • Moira O’Connor will attend Kenyon College.
  • * Maddy Paujaud will attend Louisiana State University, majoring in social work.
  • Lif Petrova will attend Tisch School of Art at New York University, majoring in Drama, musical theater w/minor in Russian.
  • * Daniel Poitevin will attend Washington College, majoring in Psychology.
  • * Francine Rast will attend Merideth College.
  • * Alessandro Sala will attend Luther College.
  • Owen Savage will take a gap year to work and travel.
  • Flora Shangguan will attend Savannah College of Art and Design, majoring in animation.
  • * Flavio Soares Gomes will play professional Football in London with the Watford Football Club
  • Bella Stimming will take a gap year to work and travel
  • Erika Suzuki will attend Merrimack College, majoring in humanities with a pre-med concentration
  • * De Andre Tisson will attend Emmanuel University in Georgia, majoring in kinesiology
  • Nic Tong will attend Rivier University, majoring in nursing
  • Riley Trottier will attend Guilford College, majoring in sports management and will be playing on the men’s basketball team
  • Wren Van Iderstine will attend UMASS Boston, majoring in psychology
  • Ethan Wang will take a gap year

* These students are part of the Black Rock Football Club Residential Academy program at High Mowing School. They have been recruited to play soccer at their chosen college.

Awards

The following awards were presented this year:

  • Faculty award — The Faculty award recognizes a senior who often goes above and beyond in being helpful, and contributing positively to the community. Typically, this is someone who doesn't get a lot of recognition but is highly respected by faculty. In order to be eligible, students must have attended HMS for more than 2 years. This year the award went to Evie Lewis.
