High Mowing School sits atop Abbot Hill in the small New England town of Wilton, New Hampshire, with spectacular views of the Monadnock mountains.
Our stunning 300-acre campus spans from the top of the hill down to the Souhegan River. The surrounding community offers a wealth of opportunities for the entire family to connect, grow, and learn.
Our Neighbors
Our Town
The Town of Wilton was incorporated in 1762, and grew around its many small mills along the Souhegan River in the 19th century. Today downtown Wilton is host to a variety of stores, shops, and restaurants. A once-empty furniture factory is now home to working artist studios, small galleries, and shops dedicated to the unique and artful. Main Street is home to the historic Wilton Town Hall Theatre. Located upstairs in the 1886 Town Hall building, it became a movie house in 1912. Here you'll find fresh popcorn, real butter, and good movies the way they used to be shown.

Our World
Our school is proud of its connections with like-minded organizations locally, in the United States, and around the world. Through ongoing dialogue, research, and shared projects, these organizations widen our knowledge base and enhance our programs for the benefit of our students.
In addition to our accrediting organizations, professional associations, and community members, these are some of the organizations with whom we collaborate from time to time.
