Community Fund Online Giving Form

The Community Fund, formerly called the Annual Fund, is High Mowing School’s primary vehicle for raising unrestricted funds.

Dyson challenge progress

We are very pleased to announce that we have met the Dyson Challenge! Over 500 members of our community have given to the school thus far this year, which means that High Mowing will receive an additional $100,000 grant from the Dyson Foundation! Many thanks to those of you who rose to the challenge by supporting this important initiative. We also want to thank Phil Brooks for his $10,000 matching gift that was met as well.

We are so grateful to our community for showing appreciation for our excellent teachers. Of the numerous donations we've received, many have been in honor of teachers and staff members, such as this tribute from David White HMS '62.

In honor of High Mowing's amazing Music Department, which truly inspired me and set me on my life's work as a support member of the Marlboro, Vermont Music Festival. How well I remember and honor Laszlo Kertesz, cellist and fabulous orchestra conductor and teacher. Then there was Pasquale Tallarico on the piano, "illustrating" moving examples of composers introduced by Frederick Karl. Chorus rehearsals and performances of "The Messiah" selections among other classics were truly blessed by their conductors, which included J. Herbert Swanson, David Lambert, and Robert Pittman. Singing truly weaved through High Mowing and still does. Onward and upward Mark Ferguson, and current students. May current and future faculty continue to weave music into their curriculum offerings.David White HMS '62
