A Center of Learning

The High Mowing library is comprised of more than 12,000 volumes, including fiction and non-fiction, reference books, encyclopedias and biographies. Most of the books in the library directly support the curriculum of the school.

Our library is a member of the New Hampshire State Interlibrary Loan Association. This affiliation provides students and faculty with access to the collections of all the libraries in New Hampshire, including the academic libraries of New Hampshire colleges and universities.  The school also subscribes to EBSCO Host, an online database of searchable, full-text articles from periodicals, scholarly journals, newspapers and reference works. High Mowing students may access these databases from the library or from remote locations. The databases are updated daily by EBSCO Host, providing students with current, reliable information to support academic research.

Students have access to the library at all times during the day. The library is open until 9 p.m. on weekdays and until 10 p.m. on weekends. Eight computers and two printers are available for student use and wireless internet access is provided. A copy machine is available as well. The librarian works in partnership with faculty to support High Mowing students on projects requiring research.
