History & Humanities Teacher

Full-time position for 2019-20 school year
About the Position
High Mowing School is now accepting applications for an enthusiastic and experienced History & Humanities teacher for the 2019-20 school year. A key member of our faculty, s/he is passionate about history and its relevance to human development and the future, and is interested in expanding their teaching beyond the traditional euro-centric Waldorf curriculum. Preferably willing to teach a few middle school blocks/classes.

Our preferred candidate is an experienced teacher trained in Waldorf education. Dynamic and actively engaged, s/he wishes to contribute to a lively community of faculty, staff, and students. S/he seeks a challenging yet supportive, home like school environment where s/he can grow professionally and personally.

The compensation for the position includes:   
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Health, dental, life, LTD
  • Up to 4% contribution to 403(b) retirement
  • Tuition remission 90%
