Congratulations to High Mowing Circus Students!
Congratulations to these talented High Mowing students for their remarkable achievement in being accepted into this year's Circus Smirkus Big Top summer tour: Gabbi Zielie '24; Sasha Misko '27; Quinn McKibben '26; Lucas Lawson-Spratley, a grade 6 student attending Pine Hill at High Mowing; and High Mowing alum Owen Lawson-Spratley.
These students, along with other Smirkus troupers, are under the expert guidance of Jon Roitman, the head coach at Circus Smirkus. During the academic year, Jon also leads as the coordinator of the HMS Circus Studies Program and serves as a movement teacher. The High Mowing Circus Studies Program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring young circus artists, combining a comprehensive residential circus training with a top-tier Waldorf high school education.
